Credit System
You can earn credits for uploading any current commercial comp consisting of:
- Lease Comps - Office, retail, or industrial
- Sales Comps - Office, retail, industrial, multi-family, and land
We also accept comps for expired leases and award 1 credit for them. You do not need to have been a party to the transaction to submit the deal to CompStak.
Submissions do not have to be within your market and you can earn credits by contributing to other markets outside your default. Once credits are earned, they are interchangeable for both lease and sales and can be applied within any market.
Comps that we do not accept:
Any comps, files, and deals that come directly from another data provider. I.e. An export directly from CoStar to CompStak. We will have a crossover on the same deals, but the data source is the most important.
While we understand that data is being collected and traded as an industry practice, we discourage CompStak members from providing data their clients explicitly state as confidential and may not be found from any other source, per USPAP.
