How to submit comps to earn credits

Earn credits by uploading a comp file or manually entering the comp data into our submission form

Upload lease and/or sales comps to earn credits and unlock the comps you need.

Uploading Your Comps
Upload lease and/or sales comps to earn credits and unlock the comps you need. At CompStak, we normalize and deduplicate your data, so you can focus on more important work.

We require several pieces of information for lease and sales comps when you upload them and the number of credits you’ll receive depends on several factors.

Tip: To get the most credits send recent, detailed comps.

To upload comps, there is no required data entry. Our team of analysts will review, clean, and upload all comps onto the CompStak platform.

Upload comps one of three ways:

1. Upload Your Comps

  1. From any screen on CompStak, click on the Get Credits button in the top right corner.
  2. In the center of the screen, click the green Select Files button.
  3. Choose files from your computer to upload. The files will be uploaded once you select them.
  4. After you upload the file directly to our website, you will receive one free comp immediately, in addition to any credits you will receive for the comps you submitted.

2. Enter Your Comps
Manually enter in your comps on CompStak by clicking the blue Manually Enter Comp Details button below the green upload button. Here, fill out the required fields and any additional lease details to then submit your comp.

3. Emailing Your Comps
Alternatively, you can also email your comps directly to comps@compstak.com and attach any file (Excel, PDF, etc.), or simply type the information into the body of an email.

Please note that we only accept lease and sales comps, not complete lease documents or listings.

Comps that we do not accept:

Any comps, files, and/or deals that come directly from another data provider. I.e. An export directly from CoStar to CompStak. We will have a crossover on the same deals, but the data source is the most important.

While we understand that data is being collected and traded as an industry practice, we discourage CompStak members from providing data their clients explicitly state as confidential, and may not be found from any other source, per USPAP.
